Hourdi Blocks are also called Filler blocks.
They are used as the infill in the construction of concrete floors or roof slabs/ribbed slabs to make the slabs hollow which improves the thermal and acoustic properties between the floors.
Hourdi blocks are fire-resistant as well as resistant to weathering.
These blocks which boast sound and heat insulation capabilities are produced in all standard shapes and sizes. Filler blocks of higher strengths than those specified in technical details can be produced as per specification requirements.
